Shingle Roof hike - June 22, 2009
We had a blast walking through the woods learning about the flora and fauna in the area. Our expert guide pointed out many fruit plants and trees, including blackberry, cherry, blueberry, grape, and plum. We even "talked" to a bullfrog near a natural spring.
We learned that you need to watch out for ticks! Apply tick repellent and wear a hat before venturing into the woods!
